Envelope Punch Card Box with Cards

Yesterday I shared with you a cool file card made with the envelope punch board.  Today I am sharing a card box that is also made with the envelope punch board.  It can make all sorts of nifty things, but was primarily designed for creating envelopes in 60 different sizes.  You can coordinate your patterned paper with your cards looks so cute.  Here are a couple of mini cards that I made.  I wanted to keep the cards flat and simple, so they would fit in a gift box I was making.
I used again, my favoite DSP, SoHo Subway again and the Hello Lovely Stamp Set.

I made the gift box by taking an 8x8 piece of paper and starting at 3 1/2 score and punch and then 0n same side at 4 1/2 punch and score.  Do this all aound the square and you will have a box.  Then snip and fold and tape and there you go!  You will have a box that looks like this.  I also made a cute band that goes around it to dress it up.
Now here is picture of all of the above.  Hope you like.  Until next time,
Hugs,
Alicia

Fun with the Envelope Punch Board

I finally have had time to play with Envelope Punch Board that Stampin Up started selling last year and I must say, I really like all the ideas that I have seen using this nifty little tool!  I am sharing with you a couple that I really like, one is the file card idea that Patty Bennett posted on her blog last year.  I have made several cards with it and love the look.  If you need directions on how to make the card, you can go to her blog PattyStamps.com and she has a video that gives the deets on it.  I used my favorite DSP. SoHo Subway on the following one and the Hello Lovely Stamp along with the Fancy Flowers die cut.  Hope you like, Until next time,
Hugs

Golden Birthday Candles

I love the Gold Fancy Foil Designer Vellum paper!  It just seems to add an instant touch of glammy glam!
This is a birthday card that I needed to make and I had just ordered the birthday candles wheel so needed to use it!  Saw this card on pinterest and thought, I can do that!  By the way, I love pinterest and it loves me so much so that I have to pull myself away from it.  I bet none of you have that problem, Ha!
Anyway, the specs on this card are easy.  I layered white cardstock under the vellum to make the gold dots on the vellum pop more.  The colors are Pool Party, Strawberry Slush and Midnight Muse.
Hope you enjoy, Until next time,
Hugs,
Alicia

Ornament Punch Flower Bag

I ran across this little jewel quite a while ago.  If you are like me, I save ideas for a time when I "think" that I can do it.   Well, I found it again and decided to give it a try with some Sale-a-bration paper, which was free with a $50.00 order, called Sweet Sorbet.  Wasn't sure that I would like it when I saw it in the brochure, but it is really very pretty in person.  Anyway,  this is make with the ornament punch, which I thought was pretty inventive.  This idea is from Laura Huffke.  So here are the specs on it:
Cut 14 petals (ornaments for first outside layer)
Then cut 9 for layer2
layer 3 is 5
layer 4 is 3
layer 5 very middle  2
I found I needed more than that to get the fullness, so just leave the punch and papers out and keep punching until you have enough to suit you.
Sponge the edges of all the ornaments (petals)
hold by tab and fold the tab on the petal up on all
cut 1 2 3/8 scallop
cut 2 medium circles of red line tape. put one in the middle of the scallop
lay one petal at a time down on the sticky with the tab facing in.  Continue around and fold them to fit.
Continue each layer until you get to the center.  You will need to add more red line tape in  the center.
I cut a fancy favor box die cut for the box and added some summer starfruit ribbon as the handle.
Hope you like, Until next time

Hello Lovely Feathers!

Isn't that the cutest!  I first saw this right after convention last year.  I unfortunately did not get to attend. The feathers caught my attention first and then the cute envie.  So I started looking to try and find the how to's and was lucky enough to run across some.  The Stamp Set is Hello Lovely, the DSP is SoHo Subway, which I really love, by the way.  The feathers were made by punching 2 circles, one of each size feather you want.  After you punch a circle reinsert into same circle punch partway until you have the size of a "feather" you want and punch down.  Fold your "feather" in half circle-don't cut all the way in but most of the way leaving an intact spine for the feather.  Then ink edges if desired.  The envie is made from a 10 1/2 x 8" piece of paper with scoring at 4 1/2 on each side of the 10 1/2" side then cutting in 3" to make the tabs.  Hope you like what I have shared.  It is a cool different way to send a card.

Until next time

Love You More

Hope everyone is having a great Valentine's Day!   Had a chance to get in my craft room and create a couple of Valentine's cards from the SU stamp set Love You More.  Love the colors together (Pink Pirouette and Melon Mambo).  Hope you enjoy!  Was in a bling mood so add the silver glimmer paper to kind of "fancy it up!"  Until next time,  Hugs

Best of Love

Wow!  It has been a very long time since I have posted on this poor neglected blog:(.  There have been many reasons as to why I haven't but mainly because I just didn't have much creative energy after losing my beautiful daughter in a car accident in August of last year.  Life does continue on and creating has always been very soothing for me so I have slowly found my way back and find that I am enjoying it!  Hope you like what I am going to share with you.  This is a true case from Alystamps but I did enjoy making it and wanted to share in case you haven't seen this cute box and card set made with the Best Of Love stamp set.  This is a Best of 25 years stamp set that is only being offered until March 31st of this year.  If you like, check it out in my online store that you can enter by clicking on the logo at the top right side.  The acetate box(which I really love to put a few cards in and give as a gift is found at bagsunlimited.com.)  Hope you like and if any questions, please let me know.  Until next time,
Hugs
