Couldn't Resist!

Ok one more time!  Maybe....

I just couldn't resist doing one more Tranquil Tulip card.  This one is pretty simple but with the dimensional tulips, it makes more a WOW card.  Well, I think so anyway.

The large one is stamped with Peekaboo Peach (a retired color), the other two are Tangerine Tango.
The leaves are Lemon Lime Twist. Card stock is whisper white and Lemon Lime Twist .On the inside, I stamped Happy Spring.

 Thanks for looking!
Until next time,

Sea Inspired

There were a couple of more designs that I liked using the Sea of Textures Stamp set.  These are entirely different colors that give them a different look than the previous card I shared.
On these two examples I used Soft Sea Foam, Sahara Sand and White card stock. The ink used are the same colors.  I then used the Under the Sea framelits for the star fish, netting and other little details.  The 1/4 copper trim is a wonderful selection since you can pull it apart to make it look like netting. Pretty cool, right?   Also on one of the cards I used a retired item, the mini embroidery hoop. The second card is an envelope card which I like just because it is different.
Well, that's it for today.  Hope you enjoyed.

Sea of Textures

Today I am using the above stamp set from Stampin Up.  I am really enjoying going thru all of my stash to actually use it!   LOL!!  Anyways, on to the card.  Since it has a water theme to it, I decided to watercolor it.  Again went to Pinterest for ideas and came across this made by Steshq Bloodhart.  I pretty much used what she did except for a few changes to make it mine.
Colors are Bermuda Bay and Gorgeous Grape.  I did a watercolor on the background of the two colors with my aqua painter after I cut a circle out and added some designs in the die cuts. All supplies are Stampin Up.

Kind of different looking..but it looks ok.  What do you think?  Actually making me look forward to some time at the beach.
Until next time

Epic Celebrations

Talk about a colorful card, this is it!  I had this stamp set Epic Celebrations from last year's SAB offerings from Stampin Up and it had not seen any ink so I started looking to see what I liked and came up with this one.  I found a picture of the one below that I had saved on the computer so just kind of copied it as I saw it.  Again, all products are Stampin Up.
I used the following:  Shimmer card stock, Real Red C/S, Simple Stripes embossing folder, Brusho Crystal Color, Butterfly Thinlits, Vellum, Silver and Gold Foil, Stitched Shapes Framelits.
It was actually a fun card to make with trying to re-create it as I saw it.

I guess you tell by now, that I love doing fussy cards that have dimension to them. When I first started this journey with paper crafts, I made very simple cards.  I still love them, but after many years of this, I like a challenge these days.
Hope you like,
Until next time,

Tulips Tulips Tulips!

Hope you liked the previous post on the tulips.  I love tulips.  They are so colorful and remind of spring is either here or coming.  Here I made a cute little gift for someone that  would love to get some cute cards to give away.
For this  project I created set of four 3x3 cards with  an adorable little box to hold them.  The box is the pizza box from Stampin Up.  The colors I used are Berry Burst,Powder Pink,Lemon Lime Twist, and Soft Sky.  I used my Cut and Scan to cut out three tulips to layer for each tulip.  I love the way it makes the tulip pop off the page.
You see the butterfly?  Isn't he the cutest? He is made with two of the largest tulip bases, then folded to make it look like wings! Then used the body of the dragonfly in the Dragon Fly Dreams stamp set.  Pretty cute.  These were not my original idea, I found it on Pinterest, but do not remember who to give credit to.  Anyways, cute stuff.   All products used are Stampin Up.
Finally the pizza box with the belly band to hold the cute little cards.

Hope you enjoyed!
