Fabulous Flamingo

With all the deary weather we have been having, I am dreaming of blue water and sand in your toes and yes, Flamingos!!  I have had this stamp set for awhile, but had not inked it up until recently. I found these two cards and made them using all Stampin Up supplies...getting them used up slowly:).
For the first card, I used glossy card stock stamped the leaves with versa mark ink and rolled with granny smith green ink.  I had not used glossy card stock in awhile and had forgotton how much fun it was. The other ink colors are blushing bride and soft sky.
The next card has a white embossed flamingo that was inked with blushing bride and fussy cut.
Then placed on several different elements to add texture.  All from Stampin Up. Hope you like and it may help you imagine the blue water and sand in the toes, if that is your thing!

Enjoy the Journey

I have always loved that saying!  Every time I see it, it reminds that we are all our journey of life and we best enjoy it as much as we can, since we only get one chance to do so.
This is a card that is inspired by one I saw but I changed it up with the stamp saying at the top.  It has several happy colors (as I call them) !  All supplies are from Stampin Up.
If any questions, leave me a comment and I will get back to you.  Until next time,

Animal Expedition

When I first saw this stamp set from Stampin Up in their Annual Caddie of 2018-2019, I was at the OnStage event in Atlanta and I knew it was going to be mine! There was just something I really like about it.  So in my usual style, I go searching on Pinterest, to find something that I like to us it on.  Here are two examples that struck me,since I am always on the look for thank you cards.  Hope you like.  All supplies are Stampin Up.
Aren't the animals cute??
Anyways,

Lilly Pond Lake

Here is a cute card that was a challenge for me.  This was the first time I had attempted to make a"reflection" on a card.  It was not quite as easy as it looked for me. You will see the finished card, which I found on Pinterest from Seeing Ink Spots Blog. I followed the directions which are as follows:
Use a silicon craft mat and stamp the reflection with Black Archival ink so that you can watercolor in and around the image.  To stamp the reflection:  ink up the image and stamp on mat,set a piece of card stock on top of the mat and rub firmly to transfer image, carefully remove card stock from the mat.  Then make sure to clean the mat thoroughly immediately.
I used Shimmer card stock, then stamped the sky with soft sky ink and the pond with old olive and soft suede ink.  I then water colored lightly over both with an aqua painter.
The heron was die cut, along with grass and waterlilies.  I water colored them lightly with colors from above. After that I arranged them on the card and Viola, it came together  What ya think??
Did you notice the saying at the bottom?  That is on the envelope.  Cute stamp set from Simon Says that I have started putting on my envelopes.  Kind of cute to me.
So I liked this set so much, I decided to go ahead and make some cute little note cards that I can enclose or give as it warrants.  Made from same SU stamp set with some really summery colors, which I love:
All supplies are from Stampin Up except as indicated.

Hope you liked these.  Enjoyed the challenge, prompted me to make the note cards.

Follow Your Dreams

The title is appropriate for my first sharing in quite awhile.  I have been wanting to share for awhile but let everything else get in the way until this year.  So I hope if you find me and my blog you enjoy the journey with me as I try again to get this going.
Most of what I share is CASE which means I have basically copied an idea or project I loved and want to share.  So first up is the Stampin Up stamp set called "follow your dreams".  I saw these on the blog, Seeing Ink Spots, which I love and copy a lot.  So here goes:
All of the cards were created on Shimmery white card stock with lots of die cutting and water coloring. I love the glitter paper that I cut out with the dream catcher die cut!!! Following are each card close up:
As you can see, lots of pretties on these cards and a great opportunity for me to use some of my Stampin up stash!!!

                                                               Until next time,
