Regarding Dahlias Stamp Set

Ok, I have one more share with the concept I have been using for the last three days, one stamp set, different colors of card stock with the same design.  These are all very easy to recreate and make a really cute little gift or hostess gift.  Hope you have liked these and can get some ideas from them.  Until next time,  Hugs,
Alicia

Feels Good Stamp Set

Still having fun doing some more of what I shared with you the previous two days, this time with the Feels Good Stamp Set.  This stamp set is one of my all time favorites ever.  I love the sayings and really like how these all turned out with different colors and same design.  Let me know what you think.  Until next time,  Hugs,

Endless Wishes Photopolymer Stamp Set

Continuing on with the theme from yesterday, I used the Endless Wishes Set, which is one of my favorite, with different color combinations and sayings but the same basic card design.  Tell me what you think.  I then put them all in a plastic card box for gift giving.  Quick and Easy is sometimes what I need.  Hope you like, until next time,
Hugs,
Alicia

Chalk Talk Stamp Set-Different Colors same Design

OK so I am trying a different way to use up some card stock and play around with colors!  This post has the Chalk Talk Stamp set, with different color combinations with the same design.  I then put them in a plastic card holder box to give as a gift!  Hopefully it might give you some ideas to try something similar when you need a quick gift or hostess gift.  Until next time,
Hugs,
Alicia

Hello Darling!

I have two cards for today using the Hello Darling Stamp set.  The first one I stamped the flowers with VersMark Ink on Daffodil Delight polka dot DSP. I then heat embossed them with white embossing powder.  Then I mounted that on a piece of Olive Green card stock.  The greeting is stamped in Memento Ink and the flowers and leaves were colored with markers.  The button was colored with the new Blendabilities Daffodil Delight marker.  That was attached to a card base in whisper white where the front was embossed with the polka dot embossing folder.  What ya think?
Hope you like. Until next time,
Hugs,
Alicia
For my next card, I used the same stamp set which I stamped in Versa Mark Ink again heat embossed with white embossing powder on a piece of real red polka dot DSP..  I wanted to change it up a bit, so I cut a basic black card base with the Squares Collection framelits. I then attached a dolly at the top and wrapped a piece of basic black bakers twine around it.  The message was done the same as above one.  The button is colored with a real red marker.

Choose Happiness

Don't you just love that name!  When I saw the stamp set in the catalog, I knew it would be at home with me.  I love the saying and other elements of it.  I saw this card on SO Shelli Blog that she made for the demonstrators in Australia and just loved how it all came together so decided I would make one too.  The card base is white naturals cardstock with crisp cantaloupe DSP on the side and tempting turquoise frame.  Hope you like,
until next time,
Hugs,
Alicia

Catalog Case-Watercolor Thank you

I know..another CASE...well almost.  I saw the cute little box on page 158 and knew that I needed a quick gift for someone special, I picked this box.  It really didn't turn out looking too much like the picture except for the Thank you and flower.  I made some cute little 3x3 cards that are tucked inside and then added some daffodil delight DSP and cardstock on the sides of the box to "dress it up".  I didn't have the satin Night of Navy ribbon so put some re-inker and alcohol in a mister and created my own.  Worked like a charm.  Love it when that happens!  The rest is in the recipe.  Hope you like.  If any questions, please let me know.  Until next time,
Hugs, Alicia

Happy 4th of July!

For today's post, wanted to make something patriotic for all of you and decided that the cute little flags that came in the June 2014 Paper Pumpkin kit would make a cute wreath and it did!  If you haven't heard of the Paper Pumpkin monthly kit, check it out  by clicking on the paper pumpkin button on the top left.  Give it try, it really is easy and cute projects that are inexpensve.  Happy 4th to all.  Until next time,
Hugs,
Alicia

Catalog Case-Boutique Borders

Here's another cute little project that I saw in the catalog on page 163.   Followed the recipe for this so it pretty much is exactly like the picture in the catalog. Another new thing that I love in the new catalog are the Photopolymer stamps.  They are truly the highest quality clear stamps that I have ever used.  They are exactly the quality that I have come to expect from Stampin Up.  Hope you like.  Until next time,
Hugs,
Alicia

Catalog Cases-Bloom with Hope

This is my third share from the catalog and definitely one of my favorites!  I love the new In Color Blackberry Bliss!  If you haven't seen it in person, you are missing a treat.  The card holder was easy to do.  Just stamped with white Stazon as indicated in the recipe.  Everything is in the recipe except the cards that are inside.  I just made them to my liking and they turned out pretty good, if I do say so
myself.  The  two tone ribbon was made with Pool Party Stampin Ink Refill and a Aqua Painter brush brushed on half of the ribbon and then dried.  Pretty cool technique.  I already know who this is going to be given to so glad that I could use a new stamp to make it.  Hope you like.  If any questions, please let me know.  Until next time,
Hugs,
Alicia

Catalog Cases_Banner Banter

Here is the second case I did from the catalog.  For some reason, I love the banner punches and framelits and stamps!  Sooo whenever I see a card or project made from either, I somehow always end of making it and this was no different.  I changed the sentiment to Happy Day and cut a envelope liner for the envie from crumb cake DSP.  Otherwise pretty much followed the recipe.  Hope you like.  Again, let me know which ones you have made.  Would love to hear from you.
Until next time,
Hugs,
Alicia
