Day of Gratitude Notecard Gift Set

Here's a notecard gift set that is made with the "Day of Gratitude" Stamp set.  the color combo is More Mustard, Cherrry Cobbler, Soft Suede, Always Artichoke and Natural Ivory.  To make the box, I used the Sizzix Box #2 box die, Scallop Circle Bigz Dies, and Clear Circle Bigz Dies.
Quickly to make the box, run c/s through the box die and cut off the top 3 flaps(sides and  back). Sticky strip tape to the bottom and side flaps to assemble.  You want to have an open top,  Cut two Scallop Circles.  Attach to box sides.  Then cut two circles with the Clear Circle Die.  Randomly stamp the leaves and acorn onto the circles. Run the circles through the big shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  Ink edges.  Attach to Scallop circles.  Then attach handle to side of the box.
For the 3x3 cards, I used the baby wipe technique to stamp  the large figure.  I really love using that technique this time of year especially with all the fall colors.  Hope you like!  Until next time, Hugs,

Tulle Table Lamp

I just fell in love with this idea when I saw it on the Holiday Create with Connie and Mary Edition.  The original one was made from an old lampshade and was a bigger lamp base.  When I saw this little personal lamp on sale at Target's, I couldn't resist.  So I purchased and got busy putting it together.  This is very simple to do with the beautiful tulle that is in the Occasions Caddie.  Simply wrap it around the shade, put some pearls on it, then make a tulle flower with the Jumblo Sticky Rounds.  Presto, it is done!!  Wouldn't that make a cute gift for someone?  Hope you enjoy until next time.   Hugs,

Fall Clothes Pin Wreath

I saw this originally on Pinterest and loved the simplicity of it.  So I decided that it would be a small class.  Did most of the prep work for it before the class including cutting all the strips for the 72 clothespins that it takes to cover a 14 inch cardboard wreath.  I went ahead and die cut all the leaves from the autumun leaves diecut and used the Wonderfall stamp to stamp on some to give some interest.  The rest is simply embellishing.  The original idea was from Rebekah Jensen.  Thanks Rebekah!  Hope you enjoy.  Until next time,  Hugs,

Fall is in the Air!

It is definitely fall here.  One of my favorite times of the year.  I love all the colorful leaves.  My husband and I go leaf peeping every year around this time and have a really great time exploring the countryside with all the beautiful colors.  Below is a picture of how pretty the leaves are here now.
So that means it is time to make a new fall wreath.  I will share with you my version of the Clothes Pins Wreath that I made in one of my classes tomorrow.  Until then,
Hugs,
Alicia
