Ears to You

Here two cute little treat holders that I made from ones that I had seen on Pinterest.  Thought they turned out soo cute.  It turns out like a pocket that you can put your candy bar into.  Very quick and easy.  Just take your choice of color for c/s 3 1/2 x 8.  Score at 2' and 2 1/2'.  Then take another color of choice 2' x 4 1/2'.  Run it through the Big Shot with the Honeycomb embossing folder..  Use your corner punch and punch upper right hand corner.  Glue to the bottom c/s on the right side. Cut a paper doily in half and glue it to the bottom c/s to overlap the embossed c/s.  Fold up your bottom where you scored it, then put another piece of emobssed c/s on the bottom.  To close, wrap your choice of ribbon or twine around and put your candy in it.  I decorated mine with the Ears To You stamp and the Labels Collection Framelits die cut.  Hope you enjoy. Hugs,

Catching Up!

Whew!  Have I been busy.  Of course, you would never know it from reading my blog.  LOL!  Here it is the middle of April and I am just now posting my Easter projects!!!  What can I say, I do have a bunch of stuff to share with you so thought I would start where I left off.  Below are the Easter cards I made for this year, minus one design since I didn't take pictures of of it  :(.  So here is the first one.  It is made using the Secret Garden Stamp set.  I stamped the flowers on Calypso Coral c/s with VersaMark and then heat embossed with white embossing powder.  Each flower has three layers, and each is given more depth by coloring toward the centers with a blender pen and Raspberry Ripple Ink.  The background for the sentiment is stamped with En Francasis using Crumb Cake Ink.  The sentiment, Easter Blessing, is a single stamp from the Spring Catalog.  The sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso.  The card is then layered together using Raspberry Ripple c/s with Crumb Cake as the base.  Hope you enjoy.
