Chattanooga Regional Swaps 2

Oh wow!  I finally made it to a regional convention that Stampin Up has around the country.  It was so much fun.  I got to meet a lot of new people and see fantastic examples and do some make and takes and the list goes on....As I promised last week, I am posting the two cards that I took with me to swap with.  Everyone must have liked them as I did not keep them very long and got some wonderful swaps back.  Here are the two cards that I took with me.

Hope you like!  Will start sharing some of the swaps I received tomorrow.  Until then,
Hugs.

Flowers for Lucy!

This post shows another picture of Lucy that I thought  was soo cute that I couldn't resist doing a scrapbook page for it.  I used a green background paper from one of the DSP packs that Stampin Up sells.  Sorry I don't remember which one and then started using my Big Shot and flower punches to make a BUNCH of flowers!  After doing all the flowers I added some fun details like the saying and brads and etc.  Hope you like!
Stamps: Mixed Bunch, Pennant Parade, Fabulous Phrases
Ink:  Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, Versamark
C/S: Lucky Limeade, Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, and Daffodil Delight,
Brights DSP
Embellies:  Lots of them.  Make it your own.  That is what makes it fun!
Until next time,
Hugs,
Alicia

Fresh Vintage Purse Gift

This post involves using one of the retired sets from Sale-a-bration this year.  I really loved the whole idea behind this and needed to make a quick gift for a friend so here it is:
For the purse, I started with the #2 box die and cut the flaps off.  Then I used the mid-size Framelit to cut the front and the back of the purse and decorated it with the DSP, paper flowers and pearls.  I also put some nuggets in the purse and made the cardby turning the design sideways.  Let me know what you think.  Until next time,   Hugs, Alicia

Lucy's Summer Smooches Scrapbook Page

I really like the colors i the Summer Smooches DSP from StampinUp.  I made this cute scrapbook page after seeing one that was like this in my searches on the web.  When I took this picture, I wasn't really sure what I would use it for but thought it was just too cute to not take.  Don't you agree?  She is such a sweet little fur baby!  Anyway, I hope you like:
Paper:  Whisper White, Summer Smooches DSP
Accessories:  Big Shot, Designer Frames Embossing Folder, Brights Buttons, Natural Hemp Twine, Summer Smooches Brads, Blossom Punch, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, Petite Pennants Builder Punch
Until next time,
Hugs,

Perfectly Perserved Thank Yous

Made these cute little 3x3 cards to send in some caddies that I mailed to some customers recently.  Really liked how they turned out. The idea came from our demonstrator magazine that we get monthly.  Hope you like, it they sure did!
I have to say that this has turned out to be one of my favorite sets from the Holiday Caddie.  I love using it along with the Cannery Set Framelits.  Stampin Up has made it so easy to stamp and die cut with this set!  Thanks Stampin Up!  Until next time,
Hugs,
Alicia

September's 50th

My Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary and I wanted to make them a pretty card.  So this is the results:
Even though this card may look like it was hard, it really wasn't.  Came together rather quickly and they liked it!  Hope you do too!  Until next time,
Hugs,
Alicia
