"Witchy" Tag
Well, Halloween is tomorrow and it will end my 31 Days of Halloween series.  It certainly has challenged me to post but  I have had a lot of fun doing it!  I will be posting several fall and Thanksgiving items in November, so be on the look out for them.  Today, I made a tag with supplies from my other favorite person (Tim Holtz).  It is a take on his October 2012 12 Tags of 2012!  Fairly easy to execute but love the sparkly glitter on the witch.  Hope you have a great one.  Until next time,
Hugs,
Alicia

Spooky Tree Card
Another oldie but goodie.  This card front is actually made from a piece of DSP that has since been retired.  I used my brayer to go  over the design with pumpkin orange ink then attached to black card stock and then to the basic gray card.  Oh yes, forgot to tell you about the mask for the white moon.  Just punch a circle out, use removable tape on back and put where you want the clean space to be and use your brayer to go over it.  Then remove and you have your clean circle.  Hope you like.  Until next time,
Alicia

Rhinestone Skull!
The below card is an oldie but goodie!  The skull is from the digi stamp set, From the Crypt, and the other embellies are retired except for the rhinestones and safety pen.  Hope you enjoy, Hugs,
Alicia

MDS Toxic Cards
These 2 cards were soo easy to put together.  They were created in My Digital Studio and printed out on glossy paper and attached to a black cardstock.  Easy Peasy!!
I highly recommend giving MDS a try.  There is a 30 day free trial available.  Free downloads this week and 50% off the digi kits.  What more can you ask for?  Also there is an online community at MyDigitalStudio.net that has tutorials and online forums to help you with it.  Let me know if you have any questions.  Until next time, Hugs,

Alicia

Spooky!
Made this card yesterday and am really liking it!  It is From the Crypt Stamp.  This stamp set is retired in real life, but not in the digi world.  That is why I love digital stamps.  You can keep on keeping on with them.  The skull is made in MDS and printed out and attached to the card.  Used the Finial Press Embossing folder and the Lattice Die cut.  Hope you like.  Until next time,  Hugs,
Alicia

Boo-tiful Tote Bags
I saw these cute little bags on the Create with Connie and Mary Holiday Edition.  They were originally designed by Debbie Henderson.  I used the template for the bag but changed it around to make it more mine.  These would make cute little bags to put candy in and give out for Halloween or for giving to people you want to for Halloween.  Hope you like.  Until next time, Hugs,
Alicia

Tissue Cover
To go along with my hand sanitizer from yesterday's post, I made a cute tissue cover holder with pumpkin tissues in it!  I know but it was just too cute to resist.  All I did is measure the size of the tissues and scored the Howlstooth and
Scaringbone DSP by the measurements.  Then wrapped it around the tissues and added some embellies on the front after I punched the oval for the tissues to be pulled out of.  Hope you enjoy.  Until next time,  Hugs,
Alicia

 Scary Hand Sanitizer!
Well I had some hand sanitizer that I have had and wanted to do something for Halloween with it.  So, hence, the hand sanitizer cover!  Very easy to make and would make a quick, nice gift for someone.  Thanks for looking.  Until next time, Hugs,
Alicia

Googly Ghouls Treat Bag
Here is another little cutie of a treat bag that comes together quickly.  Loving those easy to do Halloween treat bags!  This one is made with the Fancy Favor die cut box.  Cut it out and assemble.  Then I added some black card stock, folded it over the top then punched a hole in the top to add some ribbon.  Another easy peasy project for you to make for the kiddies or the "big kids" too!  Until next time, Hugs, Alicia

Double Pocket Treat Holder
This is a simple and quick little treat holder that you can make lots of for your kiddies!
This came from My Chic n Scratch Blog by Angie Juda.  To make this little cutie, you will need a 8  x 8 and a 12 x 1-3/8 " piece of DSP of your choice and some scraps of Very Vanilla and Tangerine Tango.   Fold the square up to a point, then place on the Simply Scored Tool and score at 3/4' at bottom and 3-3/4" on each side.  Fold sides in..then fold up and then down and your treat holder is assembled.  Punch at hole in the top and make whatever decorations for the front you want.  The long piece of DSP is for the rosette scored at every 1/2" and folded to create the rosette. Easy Peasy! Hope you like.  Until next time, Hugs,
Alicia

An Oldie, But Goodie Returns!
I found this the other day and thought I would re-post it from last year since I really like how it turned out.  This is a card holder that has four Halloween cards in it.  I thought that I would share the holder and two of the cards with you.  Here they are.  Hope you enjoy!  Do you see some retired products on these?  Look at the clearance list on my Stampin Up online store.  Some of them are available there!
Until next time,  Hugs,

Test Tube Goodies!
Come on..you know you have a stash of those test tubes in your storage area..get them out and make some for you or your friends!  It is easy and fun to do.  I simply washed them and put some candy in four of them.  Adhered the tubes with mini glue dots and then wrapped a strip of the Hoolstooth and Scraingbone DSP.  Now notice the Sweater Trim.  I used some white and dyed it with reinkers!  Now you can have your own color!  Pretty cool, right?   The stamps are not SU, just some I had that needed to see some ink on them!  Anyway, hope your like and it inspires you to get some of those test tubes out and use them.  Until next time, Hugs, Alicia

Witchy Treats
I know that you have read earlier that I LOVE the striped and checked patterns in the Howlstooth and Scaringbone DSP, but the more I use it the more I love it!
I love the versatility of this style of box, enabling you to add a little or a lot of goodies!  The Two Cool box shown is made by using the two Fancy Favor die-cuts-one as a bottom and the other as a top.  The top is made by cutting the bottom flaps off the Fancy Favor die-cut, adhering the sides like normal, then tying the top together with ribbon.  The bottom is made in the traditional way.  I made a faux bow on the top by punching two holes in the top, then threading the 1/2" Black Striped Ribbon through the holes twice for a faux box.  Here's how:  thread each end of the ribbon into a hole starting at front of the project.  Cross ends, then thread each end back through the opposite hole.  Pull tight and trim.
The front is decorated with my favorite stamp set for Halloween, Toxic Treats. Then cut out with the Labels Collection Framelits.  I also embossed the bottom box with the spider web folder, but my picture is not showing it very well.  Gotta, get better pictures!  Any ideas to help would be appreciated!   If you want to leave a message, just write in the comment section!  thanks. Until next time, Hugs,
Alicia

Cute Little Tic Tac Holder!
This is going to be a short post but a cute one.  Saw this on UTube and just had to make one.  It is a Tic Tac Holder that would make a cute little gift for someone and could also be made for Christmas or Valentine's or just about anything.  It is made with the two tag Sizzix tag die cut that Stampin Up carries.  Cut a piece of card stock 6" by 2 3/4".  Use the bigger tag and fold in half then position this about a 1/2" below the fold.  After cutting, fold and put your tic tac box in and secure with tape.  Tie the ends together with ribbon and Viola, it is done.  Cute, Cute Cute, I tell ya!  This picture doesn't do this justice.  It sure can get the creative juices going to see what all you could do with this simple and quick project.  The pumpkin on the front is made with oval punches.  Hope you enjoy.  Until next time, Hugs.

Frightening Feline_Another take on it
This is just really a simple and sweet type card.  To make this card, I used the 7/8" Natural ribbon along with the Jumbo Sticky Rounds and made a fun little ribbon element.  I love these sticky rounds because they make the flower elements SO simple to put together.  Stampinbythesea blog site has a video that shows how she does it.  I also used a little of the Hoolstooth and Scaringbone DSP.  This is my favorite of all Halloween papers by Stampin Up.  It can actually be used for more than just Halloween!  Yipee!  Hope you enjoy!  Until next time, Hugs,
Alicia

Frightening Feline
Isn't this a cute card?  I love this stamp so decided to bling it up with some rhinestone eyes and ribbon.  It has a black base, with tangerine tango and very vanilla cardstock.  I ran the larger piece of VV cardstock through the spider web embossing flolder to give it some texture.    Hope you like.
Until next time, Hugs, Alicia

Halloween Pinwheel Wreath
I created this today with no forethought on it.  I had made a similiar pinwheel wreath for the summer with some retired DSP and wanted to use some more of my DSP stash that has retired so I came up with this.  It has all kinds of retired DSP on it but was fun to make.  I had a Raven around so stuck that on it and then some spiders to add some interest to it.  Hope you like.  Until next time, Hugs, Alicia

Trick or Treat Hybrid Scrapbook Page
Been wanting to work with the new MD2 and finally did.  Made a cute hybrid scrapbook page of none other than Lucy, my favorite subject!  Used the Toxic Frameable designer Template in MDS.  Love how easy it was to use and put all the other items on the white page.  I then used some of the Howlstooth and Scaringbone DSP and the the First Edition DSP.  Really like how it turned out.  You must try the MDS2.  There is a free 30 Day trial version av available now.  Just scroll down on the right side of my blog and you will see the button for it.  Well, gotta run for now.  Until next time, Hugs   Alicia

Hope you enjoy!  Until next time, Hugs,

31 Days_8

This card is from the stamp show that I mentioned before.  It is THoltz, Stampers Anonymous stamp set.  I was lucky enough to get to meet Mr. Stampers Anonymous (Ted) and have him show me some tricks and he was kind enough to make me a tag!  That was so much fun.  As I mentioned earlier, I love THoltz stuff as much as I do Stampin Up.  Both are top notch and fun to play with.  Hope you like this.   This stamp is one of my favorite in his new releases.  Until next time, Hugs, Alicia

31 Days_7

The picture of this card does not does not do it justice!  I just loved these stamps and had to make a card showing the the trick or treaters thinking they may NOT want to go to that scary house!  This card is bigger than most cards that I make, but then again you just go with what happens and this stamp set needs a needed a bigger card for it to happen.  The second picture is the inside of the card.  I embossed  the saying and loved how it turned out! Hope you enjoy.  Until next time,

Alicia

31 Days_6

This tag came about after I saw this cute little pumpkin stamp at the stamp show in Greenville, S.C., I knew that I wanted to make a tag with it so came up with this and was thought it turned out good.  Hope you enjoy!  Until next time,

The next 4 days are shares that are not Stampin Up but ones that I love anyway!  This is a tag that I made with TH stuff (I love all his stuff too!).  It is a knock off of his August 2012 tag and copied from another Pinterest post.  Isn't she a cute little witch?  Hope you enjoy.  Until next time, hugs, Alicia

This is the last of the swaps that I will post from the regional but wanted to share with you since they are all"Halloweeny"!  The first card is from Pamela Kroeger and the second one is Sharon Brown.  Enjoy and see you tomorrow.  Hugs,
Alicia

Well wouldn't you know it!

Seems like every time I think that I have a handle on getting more blogging done, there is always something or somethings that have other ideas.  As stated in my last post, I  had every intention of posting for the 31 days of Halloween, but I had to go out of town  last week and did not have any internet service.  I had my blogger set to post for a couple days automatically, but that did not happen either!  So I am going to post what I have today and then start tomorrow and try again!   Hope you enjoy and so sorry for the mess.
